AR Graffiti: Hall of Fame

31 Jan - 22 Feb 2026 EMG Groningen

Step into a immersive world where digital street art came alive. Located in the EMG, in the heart of Groningen’s newest district, Stadshavens, the Groningen-based art collective WERC presented a large-scale, interactive installation where graffiti, light, and sound merge into a single sensory experience.

At the center of the exhibition is AR Graffiti 3, multiple graffiti pieces were brought to life through interactive projections and a specially composed soundscape. Together, they formed an overwhelming spatial experience, blurring the boundaries between physical and digital art and showcasing street art like never before.

In an adjacent space, AR Graffiti 1.0 and 2.0 were also on display. These earlier works offered context and demonstrate how WERC has gradually transformed traditional graffiti into a new, virtual form of expression where technology and creativity meet.

This exhibition was made possible through our collaboration with MY Facilities. Thanks to their technical expertise, we were able to realise the video projections for AR Graffiti: Hall of Fame.
