About AR Graffiti 3.0

In AR Graffiti 3.0, street art is brought to life with real-time generative projection-based visuals that give the audience control to alter the artwork. This latest installation by the art collective WERC takes graffiti into new dimensions. The work is a multi-layered graffiti piece. Carefully designed computer-generated graphics are placed on top of these layers. The audience plays a significant role in the work. The artwork uses a depth camera that tracks people in real time, allowing them to interact with the visuals projected over the graffiti piece. The different layers of visuals contain constantly changing color combinations and are accompanied by sound that functions like a dynamic drum machine, changing and starting based on the audience’s movements.

We are actively continuing development of the AR Graffiti Toolkit, having released a public beta, we are now rolling out improvements leading up to our official release on Friday the 13th 2026, which will include a full video tutorial.
