WERC ARTIST TALKS #7 Juliette Bibasse

OCT 3RD 2025

A series of talks with our favourite new media artists. Over the years we’ve met some inspiring, thought provoking and kind artists from all over the world. We’d love for you to meet them as well, so we’re inviting them for an Artist Talk in our studio, where we can all have a drink, talk about the current challenges and opportunities in new media art and discuss their work.

Are you curious about the last edition with Francois Wunschel from 1024 Architecture? Check out the livestream here.

SEVENTH EDITION WITH JULIETTE BIBASSE

Brussels-based Juliette Bibasse is an independent curator, producer, and creative director specializing in digital art. With a background in graphic design and artistic direction, she creates immersive, sensory experiences that explore the intersections of technology, perception, and human interaction.

Known not only for her artistic vision but also for her keen understanding of how to navigate and succeed in the art world, she acts as a bridge connecting artists, festivals, and cultural actors, fostering collaborations across the creative landscape. She has collaborated on international projects, from digital art festivals and interactive stage designs at SXSW to installations for Milan Fashion Week, including the Jay-Z x Joanie Lemercier collaboration for Barneys NYC holiday windows.

After a decade as an artist producer, she has now become an independent curator, co-director of Studio Lemercier, and co-founder of Solar Lab with Joanie Lemercier, a platform for experiments and ideas about low-tech, energy, and resources in connection with the Sun. In addition, she is an active member of the Brussels arts scene, co-founding SALOON Brussels, an international network supporting women in the arts, and participating in several other art networks.
